VOG & VAT Band Awards Evening

On Monday evening, members and supporters of the Vale Associated Training Brass Band and Vale of Glamorgan Brass Band gathered at The Sully Inn to celebrate another fantastic year of music-making. Our annual Band Awards Evening was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the hard work, dedication, and talent shown by our musicians over the past year. The evening was filled with laughter, applause and a real sense of community as awards were presented across a range of categories, highlighting musical achievement, commitment, progress and contribution to band life. It was inspiring to see so many members celebrated for their efforts both on and off the stage. We would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the evening such an enjoyable occasion, as well as The Sully Inn for hosting us so warmly. Events like these remind us that banding is not just about music — it’s about friendship, encouragement and shared success.
